We are moving and we need your help! When we started Patchwork, we thought that after a year of being open we’d hit 50 members. But we hit that milestone in just a month, and now, three months later, we’re at 100 members. Our pop up was getting crowded.

So we’ve been searching for a new home for Patchwork and we are very close to signing the lease on a place nearby!

Today, launched our fundraising campaign. We need to raise $25k to cover our moving costs.

Your gift will be used for:

• Essential safety building checks: plumbing and electrical and install utility sink for the makerspace
• Install door lock system, enabling safe and accessible member access
• Check and repair HVAC, investigate and fix water damage
• Remove ground floor walls to open up space and access windows to make the space more cozy
• Buy work tables, couches, chairs, desks, and shelving for makerspace, coworking, and lounging areas
• Cover real estate transaction fees
• We’re in final negotiations on our new space. If this deal doesn’t work out, every dollar goes toward our move to a different permanent home in Ward 2, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
