Last weekend was a good reminder of why we do what we’re doing: building skills, community spaces, and community. We’ve had people reach out about organizing a variety of events and we’re excited to share this initial line-up. Keep an eye on our calendar to see all upcoming events.

- Knitting Circle, monthly on first Tuesdays starting July 7th 5:30-7:30pm
- Spanish Club for Socialists, weekly on Tuesday from 7:30-9pm
- Member Meetings, biweekly on Monday from 7-8pm (next one is tonight! Then July 20th)
- Admin Night Potluck, monthly on third Thursdays starting July 16th from 5-8pm

What we’re reading:
Build Nothing that Isn’t Beautiful: Art reflects and shapes society, but capitalism limits true artistic freedom by forcing many to work for wages. William Morris believed art should be made freely by artists working together, not controlled by profit-driven owners. If art were truly democratic, it could transform our world and inspire new creative possibilities.
